Tips from the economically savvy!!

So Matt calls me cheap, but I prefer the term "economically savvy." One of my favorite hobbies is to hunt down deals. If you are interested in the same I have some cool tips for you. My favorite deal website is: www.afullcup.com and has a variety of ideas, coupons and helps. I thought I was frugal, but after going to that website I am nothing compared to some of those women! WOW!! Going out on a date with my husband seems to get so expensive by the time you pay the babysitter. So I like to buy gift certificates to restaurants at www.restaurant.com . There you can buy a $25 gift certificate for only $10 if you have an online coupon code (which I always have) you can purchase them for 40-60% off ($4-5). To get the coupon code you just do a search for online coupon codes and then type in restaurant.com. We just went to a nice steak house, on a date, and our bill would have been almost $60 and we paid $35. Just check it out for yourself. We can normally go to a nice restaurant and get $35 worth of food for about $14-15. I'm always up for a good deal, so if you ever see any send them my way. Oh, 2 more I just thought of. For children's clothing the absolute best place to go (cheaper than a thrift store) is the Children's Place in the Folsom outlets. Everytime I go they have at least 5-10 racks of 99 cent items. I just bought super cute sweaters for Paige for only 99 cents!! Very comfy pj's for 99 cents and some for $1.99!! If you are looking to make some extra money you can join me and sell your unwanted used toys, furniture and kids, teens and maternity clothing at the Just Between Friends sale (www.jbfsale.com). There's a sale coming up in August that I'm going to consign in for the first time. I decided to summer clean and went through all of our kids and baby clothing and just slimmed down the boxes a bit with the clothing items I wasn't too crazy about and I already have lots to sell. That's all for now!
